Faire program released as countdown begins

Organisers of the St Ives Medieval Faire 2017 have released the timetable and event map.

With the St Ives Medieval Faire just one week away, the event’s packed timetable of events has been published online.

The timetable is available at stivesmedievalfaire.com.au/program.

Event organisers felt it important to publish the timetable ahead of time so families can plan their weekend around events they don’t want to miss.

Official proceedings kick off with the Grand Parade at 10am each day, followed by battle demonstrations, dance workshops, Q&As with reenactors, a Birds of Prey show, and of course, the World Jousting Championship.

Along with timetabled events, Fairegoers will be able to interact with authentic medieval life at the immersive Medieval Village, shop at the enchanting market stalls, or try their hand at archery.

Kids can take in puppet shows from internationally renowned Murphy’s Puppets, learn jester skills at the YMCA Jesters Academy, or get close to cuddly animals at the animal farm.

Also available to download is the event map, which organisers are encouraging people to download before they arrive on the day so they can easily situate themselves.

The map can be found at stivesmedievalfaire.com.au/map.

Hard copies of the timetable and the map will be available for collection at the event.

The St Ives Medieval Faire takes place on 23 and 24 September 2017 at St Ives Showground.

Tickets for the Medieval Faire are available at a discounted price online at stivesmedievalfaire.com.au, or for full price at the gate.
