Black Pool Vikings

Black Pool Vikings is a small, but growing medieval re-enactment group portraying the life of Scandinavian peoples during the years 850 C.E to 950 C.E, both at war and at home. The group is historically based around the lives of the inhabitants of Viking Dyflin (meaning “The Black Pool”), modern-day Dublin. They strive to achieve a historically accurate depiction of life in a Scandinavian settlement through the application of experimental archaeology, exploring the areas of domestic crafts, food, trade, society and martial combat.
